Bartender

About the role

KON-TIKI Hospitality Corp. is seeking a skilled and charismatic Bartender to join our team at our venue located in Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga. This is a full-time position where you will be the face of our bar operations, creating memorable experiences for our guests through expert mixology, exceptional service, and engaging customer interactions. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for excellence whilst contributing directly to the success and profitability of our hospitality operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests with precision, consistency, and flair, following established recipes and presentation standards
• Take customer orders in a friendly and efficient manner, whilst making recommendations based on guest preferences and occasion
• Maintain an organized and sanitary bar workspace, including cleaning glassware, tools, and surfaces to comply with health and safety regulations
• Stock and manage bar inventory, monitoring stock levels and alerting management to required supplies and reordering needs
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process payments and manage transactions
• Comply with all licensing laws and regulations regarding the service of alcohol, including verification procedures
• Provide knowledgeable information about spirits, wines, beers, and cocktails to enhance the guest experience
• Collaborate with other bar staff and service team members to ensure seamless operations during peak service periods
• Maintain professionalism and courtesy with all guests, colleagues, and management at all times
• Contribute to a welcoming and inclusive bar atmosphere that encourages guest loyalty and repeat business

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working as a Bartender in a hospitality or similar high-volume service environment
• Strong knowledge of cocktail recipes, spirits, wines, and beers, with the ability to make recommendations
• Excellent mixology skills with the ability to prepare drinks efficiently and with consistent quality
• Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage guests and build rapport
• Proficiency in operating POS systems and handling cash transactions accurately
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks such as lifting and carrying stock
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Relevant certifications such as Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) or mixology certification are advantageous
