About the role

Riviera Golf Club, Inc. is seeking a skilled and personable Bartender to join our hospitality team on a full-time basis at our establishment in Silang, Cavite. As a Bartender, you will be the face of our bar operations, responsible for crafting exceptional beverages, providing outstanding customer service, and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism. This role is pivotal in creating memorable experiences for our guests and upholding the reputation of our venue as a premier destination.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards

• Taking drink orders from customers and processing payments accurately and efficiently

• Engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner, offering recommendations and ensuring customer satisfaction

• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glasses, bottles, garnishes, and equipment

• Restocking bar supplies, monitoring inventory levels, and reporting stock requirements to management

• Adhering to health and safety regulations, food hygiene standards, and responsible alcohol service protocols

• Working collaboratively with bar staff and other team members to deliver seamless service during peak periods

• Managing the cash register and handling money transactions with accuracy and integrity

• Creating an inviting and safe bar environment whilst maintaining professional conduct at all times

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Bartender or in a similar bar and beverage role, ideally within a hospitality or golf club setting

• Extensive knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and cocktail recipes, with the ability to create both classic and contemporary drinks

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure during busy service periods

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a warm and engaging personality

• Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling procedures

• A thorough understanding of responsible alcohol service and local licensing laws

• Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods whilst performing repetitive tasks

• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene

• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays

• Preferred: Bartending certification or formal training in mixology and beverage service
