Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that encourages repeat visits.
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and food handling standards.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while balancing registers at shift end.
• Assist in setting up bar areas for special events like banquets or catering functions, ensuring all supplies are stocked and ready.
• Follow all alcohol serving laws and responsible beverage service protocols to promote guest safety.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings; retail math and hospitality experience are highly valued.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; previous experience with food industry standards is preferred.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol serving laws.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math applications.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays; nightclub or catering experience is a plus.
