Bartender

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, with experience in fine dining or bar settings. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional experience for our guests through your knowledge of beverages, food safety, and efficient service.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
• Operate Toast POS systems for order entry and payment processing efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
• Assist with inventory management, monitoring alcohol levels.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items to guests at the bar or during banquets and catering events.
• Demonstrate strong time management skills to handle multiple orders during peak hours effectively.
• Utilize basic math skills for cash handling, ensuring accurate transactions and balancing cash drawers at the end of shifts.

Requirements

• Previous bartending experience in a restaurant or bar is preferred.
• Familiarity with Toast POS systems is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices within the food industry.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods.
• Basic math proficiency for cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
