Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beverages, and ensuring a memorable experience for our guests in both fine dining and nightclub settings. Your ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks will be essential in delivering top-notch service.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and guest preferences.
• Maintain knowledge of the menu offerings, including food pairings and drink specials.
• Operate Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order processing and payment handling.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations while maintaining cleanliness at the bar area.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Manage cash handling accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverage orders.
• Uphold high standards of hospitality while creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.

Requirements

• At least 2 years previous bartending experience in a restaurant or nightclub setting is preferred, with fine dining experience being a plus.
• Familiarity with Micros POS systems is highly desirable.
• Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing; retail math experience is beneficial.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations within the food industry.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
