Bartender

NOW HIRING: PART-TIME BARTENDER

Dog House Drinkery & Dog Park | Leander, TX

Love dogs? Love people? Know how to keep the good times rolling? We might have the perfect job for you!

Dog House Drinkery & Dog Park is looking for a friendly, dependable, dog-loving Part-Time Bartender to join our pack!

We're not your typical bar. We're a laid-back, dog-friendly neighborhood hangout where the dogs play, the drinks are cold, and everybody knows your dog's name!

We're looking for someone who can provide outstanding customer service, take pride in their work, and help create the welcoming atmosphere our customers (and their four-legged best friends) have loved since 2012.

What You'll Be Doing

• Serving beer, wine, and nonalcoholic beverages. No mixology skills required! We're a beer-and-wine establishment, so there's no cocktail mixing involved.
• Providing exceptional, friendly customer service and making every guest feel welcome.
• Getting to know our regulars, both two-legged and four-legged!
• Handling cash, credit card transactions, and maintaining accurate sales records.
• Keeping the bar, serving areas, and surrounding spaces clean, organized, and stocked.
• Opening, closing, and completing daily operational tasks.
• Working independently, taking initiative, and staying productive without constant supervision.
• Helping maintain a fun, safe, and positive environment for our guests and their dogs.

Who We're Looking For

• A genuine dog lover! You must be comfortable around dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities.
• A people person with an outgoing, welcoming personality and excellent customer service skills.
• Someone who is honest, dependable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to cleanliness.
• Comfortable handling cash and processing payments accurately.
• A self-starter who can recognize what needs to be done and take action.
• Someone who can multitask, stay calm during busy periods, and maintain a positive attitude.
• A team player who can also confidently work independently.
• Current TABC certification required.

Previous bartending or hospitality experience is a plus, but a great attitude, strong work ethic, and outstanding customer service skills are what matter most!

Why You'll Love Working Here

• You're surrounded by DOGS! Seriously, how many jobs offer that?
• A fun, casual, outdoor atmosphere — no stuffy corporate bar environment.
• A chance to get to know amazing customers and their pups.
• A friendly, community-focused neighborhood business.
• A workplace where your personality, initiative, and customer service truly make a difference.
• Part-time hours with a unique, dog-friendly work environment.
