Bartender

The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming bar area. This role involves preparing drinks according to recipes, handling customer requests, processing payments, monitoring beverage inventory, and ensuring responsible alcohol service in accordance with applicable laws and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and standards.
• Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive, and professional service.
• Take beverage orders accurately and answer customer questions about drink options.
• Prepare cocktails, mixed drinks, beer, wine, coffee, and other beverages as required.
• Maintain consistent drink quality, presentation, and portion control.
• Verify customer identification and age before serving alcohol when required.
• Follow responsible alcohol-service practices and applicable regulations.
• Operate POS systems and process customer payments accurately.
• Handle cash, credit-card transactions, and receipts responsibly.
• Monitor beverage inventory and replenish bar supplies as needed.
• Assist with ordering beverages, mixers, garnishes, and other supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar, counters, glassware, and equipment.
• Wash and organize glassware, utensils, and beverage-preparation tools.
• Follow food-safety, hygiene, and workplace-safety procedures.
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and communicate issues to management.
• Complete opening, closing, and bar-restocking procedures.
• Minimize beverage waste and maintain responsible stock usage.
• Follow company policies and maintain a professional bar environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, wine, and beverage preparation.
• Strong customer-service and communication skills.
• Familiarity with POS systems and payment-processing procedures.
• Understanding of responsible alcohol service and applicable laws.
• Knowledge of bar sanitation and equipment-cleaning procedures.
• Strong organization and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when preparing orders.
• Ability to handle customer requests and resolve concerns professionally.

Pay: $22.58 - $27.19 per hour
