Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled, energetic, and guest-focused Bartender to join the team at a concept bar & restaurant in Undri, Pune.

The candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing cocktails, mocktails, spirits, beers, and other beverages while maintaining speed, consistency, hygiene, and presentation. The ideal candidate should have good product knowledge, understand bar operations, and be comfortable interacting with guests and upselling beverages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve cocktails, mocktails, spirits, beers, and other beverages as per standard recipes.
• Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, garnish, and portion size.
• Set up and maintain the bar station before, during, and after service.
• Handle daily mise-en-place including garnishes, syrups, juices, mixers, and bar prep.
• Recommend beverages to guests based on their preferences.
• Upsell cocktails, premium liquor, bottles, and beverage promotions.
• Maintain bar stock, requisitions, opening/closing stock, and basic inventory records.
• Monitor wastage, spillage, breakage, and portion control.
• Follow proper bottle handling, storage, FIFO, and bar hygiene standards.
• Coordinate with Captains, Stewards, and Restaurant Manager for timely beverage service.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar counter, equipment, glassware, refrigerators, and storage areas.
• Follow responsible alcohol service and company SOPs.
• Assist with opening and closing bar duties.
• Support smooth operations during weekends, events, high-footfall evenings, and late-night service.

Candidate Requirements:

• Prior experience as Bartender, Junior Bartender, Bar Associate, or similar role in a restaurant, bar, lounge, hotel, or club preferred.
• Good knowledge of cocktails, mocktails, spirits, beers, mixers, and basic bar techniques.
• Comfortable with shaking, stirring, muddling, pouring, garnishing, and basic cocktail preparation.
• Basic knowledge of bar inventory, portion control, and wastage management preferred.
• Good communication and guest interaction skills.
• Should be presentable, disciplined, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced bar environment.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, public holidays, and late-night operations.
• Candidate should be currently located in or willing to travel/relocate to Undri, Pune.

Qualification:

Minimum 12th pass.
Bartending course / Hotel Management / Hospitality background preferred but not mandatory.
