Bartender

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Prepare and serve food items following safety and sanitation standards, including operating kitchen equipment safely.
• Process retail sales transactions, including cash handling, credit card payments, and processing cash register operations seamlessly.
• Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
• Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation guidelines, food safety management practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Manage customer orders efficiently with food service customer order management systems to ensure timely delivery.
• Assist in operating kitchen equipment and supporting food preparation tasks as needed to ensure quality service.

Skills

• Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with strong food service customer order management skills.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, along with cashiering and retail math proficiency.
• Solid understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and support culinary tasks when required.
• Previous retail sales or grocery store experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility in handling various sales transactions.
