Role Description The Bartender is a full-time, on-site role based at Oak Hills Country Club in San Antonio, TX. This role is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, taking and delivering food and drink orders, and maintaining a clean, organized bar area. Day-to-day tasks include greeting members and guests, recommending menu items, handling payments accurately, and following all safety and responsible service regulations. The Bartender collaborates with servers, kitchen staff, and management to support events and regular service, ensuring consistent, high-quality member experiences.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills to interact professionally with members, guests, and team members.
• Food & beverage knowledge, including familiarity with cocktail recipes, wine, beer, and club menu offerings.
• Bartending skills, including drink preparation, bar setup and breakdown, and responsible alcohol service.
• Accurate cash handling skills, including processing payments, making change, and reconciling receipts.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry supplies, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous bartending or hospitality experience, preferably in a club, hotel, or restaurant setting.
• Knowledge of local and state alcohol service laws; relevant certifications (e.g., TABC or equivalent) are preferred.
• Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
