Duties

• Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience and promote beverage sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Process cash and card transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; handle cash handling with precision.
• Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to elevate guest satisfaction.
• Manage bar inventory, monitor stock levels, and place orders as needed to ensure availability of ingredients.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during food service events such as banquets or catering functions to coordinate seamless service delivery.

Requirements

• Proven experience in bartending within fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or catering environments.
• Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, craft beer, and spirits.
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS; excellent cash handling skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
• Food safety certification and understanding of proper food handling procedures required.
• Previous experience in hospitality industry roles such as food service or restaurant work preferred.
• Basic math skills for retail math calculations related to sales and inventory management.
