Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring each drink meets quality standards.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing personalized recommendations based on their preferences.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; handle cashing out procedures efficiently.
• Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and placing orders as needed to ensure seamless service.
• Develop creative beverage recipes and contribute to menu updates that highlight current trends in mixology and craft beer.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during food service events like banquets or catering functions to ensure smooth operation.
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption for safety.
• Assist in training new team members on bar procedures, POS systems, and customer service standards.
• Contribute to a lively nightclub or event atmosphere by engaging guests in entertainment activities when appropriate.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or catering environments with a strong understanding of beverage preparation techniques.
• Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, cocktail recipes, and mixology principles.
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; basic math skills for processing transactions accurately.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts.
• Experience working in food handling, food safety standards, and adhering to sanitation protocols.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced hospitality setting.
• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred; retail math skills are a plus.
• Knowledge of beverage recipe development and brewing processes is advantageous for crafting unique drinks.
• Hospitality industry experience with an emphasis on bar management or supervising team members is desirable.

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
