54 Brewing Co. is a local craft brewery in Markham. We're looking for a friendly part-time bartender to join our taproom team! Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with recipes and customer preferences
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, ensuring excellent customer service at all times
• Using POS (Point of Sale) systems
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and bar equipment
• Monitor guest consumption for responsible service, adhering to food safety and alcohol regulations
• Restock bar supplies efficiently during shifts to ensure smooth operations
• Collaborate with team members to deliver a lively, welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles, especially in bartending or serving in a restaurant setting
• Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS or similar tools
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently while maintaining quality service
• Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service with positive communication skills
• Experience in the food industry that highlights teamwork, hospitality, and multitasking abilities

Requirement

• Valid Smart Serve certificate (must-have)

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5.0 – 25.0 per week
