About the Role

If you love great craft beer, wood-fired pizza, and a lively atmosphere, you’re in the right place! Tanglewood Pizza Company in Bermuda Run is looking for an energetic, hard-working Bartender to join our crew. We’re part restaurant, part craft beer destination, and 100% the local neighborhood hangout.

We take our food and drinks seriously? Not so much. If you’re quick on your feet, love connecting with people, and know how to keep the good vibes flowing behind the bar, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Be Doing

• Pouring & Crafting: Slinging cold craft brews from our 25 rotating taps, mixing up signature cocktails, and keeping the drinks moving with speed and accuracy.
• Bringing the Vibe: Greeting regulars like old friends, welcoming new faces, and setting a fun, hospitable tone for our dining room, patio, and live music nights.
• Mastering the Menu: Guiding guests through our draft lineup, recommending top-notch pizza-and-drink pairings, and answering menu questions with confidence.
• Running a Tight Ship: Keeping the bar spotless, stocking kegs, prepping fresh garnishes, washing glassware, and staying organized through every shift.
• Serving Responsibly: Checking IDs diligently and ensuring all alcohol service is safe and fully compliant with state regulations.
• Team First: Teaming up seamlessly with floor servers, kitchen staff, and managers to crush peak dinner rushes and weekend crowds together.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 2+ years of bartending under your belt in a high-volume setting (experience with draft beer systems and changing kegs is a huge plus!).
• Beverage Passion: Genuine enthusiasm for local NC craft beers, spirits, and cocktails.
• People Skills: Upbeat personality, strong communication skills, and the ability to keep your cool when the bar gets busy.
• Flexibility: Ready to work days, nights, weekends, or maybe a serving shift when we need coverage. We LOVE team players.
• Physical Hustle: Ability to move fast, stay on your feet for extended shifts, and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs (kegs and liquor cases are no joke!). **Bartenders are required to put up the beer order if you are working a day it comes in.
• Responsible: My bartenders are who I lean on the most to make sure this restaurant runs smoothly when management isn't here. If you have experience performing end of day tasks, like counting money, performing voids/comps, collecting money from staff shift reports, talk to angry customers if need be, then you need to apply.
