Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or food pairings.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all tools, glassware, and ingredients are well-stocked and properly stored.
• Process cash and card transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; handle cash handling responsibly.
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards diligently while serving food and beverages to ensure guest safety and satisfaction.
• Develop new beverage recipes and experiment with presentation styles to keep the menu fresh and exciting.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering events or banquet functions to deliver seamless service in various settings including nightclubs or fine dining environments.

Experience

• Proven experience as a bartender in diverse settings such as fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or catering events.
• Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, craft beer brewing processes, and beverage recipe development.
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple orders while maintaining a lively atmosphere.
• Experience in food handling, food safety protocols, and beverage presentation standards within the hospitality industry.
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while ensuring accuracy in cash handling and order fulfillment.
• Previous bar management or supervisory experience is a plus for those interested in advancing their hospitality career.
