Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic bartender to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a bartender, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcomed.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Toast POS or Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
• Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and upselling opportunities.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, adhering to food safety guidelines.
• Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for new guests as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred, with fine dining experience being a plus.
• Familiarity with Toast POS, Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar systems is advantageous.
• Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and guest requests.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately.
• Knowledge of food handling practices, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations.
• Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is beneficial.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
