Bartender

1864 is hiring a bartender to join our team in downtown Bozeman. We’re a noir-inspired cocktail bar and restaurant focused on thoughtful drinks, elevated food, and warm, attentive hospitality.

We’re looking for someone who can make a well-balanced cocktail, keep a busy bar organized, and make guests feel welcome. You should take pride in your work, communicate clearly, and support the team through setup, service, and closing.

What you’ll do

• Prepare house cocktails, classics, and other beverages with consistency and attention to detail.
• Provide knowledgeable, personable service and guide guests through our food and drink menus.
• Handle bar guests and service tickets efficiently while maintaining quality.
• Complete prep, restocking, cleaning, and opening and closing duties.
• Follow responsible alcohol service practices and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to keep service running smoothly.

What we’re looking for

• Previous bartending experience, preferably in a cocktail-focused or high-volume setting.
• A solid understanding of classic cocktails, spirits, and bartending techniques.
• A genuine interest in hospitality and learning our cocktail program.
• Reliability, strong communication, and a willingness to help wherever needed.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and late-night shifts.

Pay: $10.85 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 35.0 per week
