Bartender

Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food and beverage service environments such as fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, engaging with guests, and ensuring a memorable experience for all patrons. Prior experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred, along with strong time management and sales abilities. A background in food safety, food handling, and hospitality is essential to maintain high standards of service. Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
• Engage with guests to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
• Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during busy hours using strong time management skills
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area following food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations throughout shifts
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change
• Assist in setting up for events such as banquets or catering functions when required
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies
• Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during nights, weekends, or special events like nightclub nights

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bartending within fine dining, nightclubs, banquet settings, or similar environments
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations
• Ability to multitask efficiently during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail
• Previous experience in food handling, catering, or retail math is a plus
• Knowledge of brewing techniques or beverage preparation is advantageous
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required in hospitality settings
