Bartender

Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented daytime Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating a welcoming atmosphere, providing excellent customer service, and expertly mixing drinks. This role involves engaging with guests, managing bar operations, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons. Previous experience in food and beverage service is a must, along with strong multitasking skills and knowledge of food safety standards.

Must be available Monday, Thursday and Friday days.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently, following recipes and presentation standards.
• Engage with guests in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations to enhance their experience.
• Manage POS transactions, ensuring accurate cash handling and billing.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware and supplies.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with alcohol service laws.
• Restock bar supplies as needed, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and other essentials.
• Follow food safety protocols when handling food items or garnishes associated with drink service.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Adhere to all health regulations and safety procedures to maintain a safe environment for staff and guests.

Skills

• Proven experience in bartending or food service industry; familiarity with restaurant operations is a plus.
• Proficiency with POS systems.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, change calculation, and inventory management.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Hospitality-oriented mindset with a focus on creating positive guest experiences.

Pay: $19.25 per hour
