Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to understand their preferences and recommend drinks accordingly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; handle cash handling responsibilities efficiently.
• Manage multiple tasks effectively through excellent time management skills during busy service periods.
• Develop creative beverage recipes and suggest pairings to enhance guest experiences.
• Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; assist with stock replenishment as needed.
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during events such as banquets or catering functions.

Experience

• Proven experience in bartending within a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, craft beer styles, and beverage recipe development.
• Familiarity with POS systems for processing transactions efficiently.
• Previous food service experience including serving guests and food handling practices.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Experience working in fine dining settings or catering environments is preferred but not required.
