We are seeking enthusiastic, dependable, and hospitality-minded individuals to join our team as Part-Time Event Bartenders.

The Opportunity

As an Event Bartender, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming and memorable atmosphere for wedding guests and private events.

This position goes beyond preparing and serving beverages. Our bartenders are expected to anticipate guest needs, demonstrate professionalism, support their teammates, and take pride in the overall event experience.

Previous bartending experience is preferred but not required. Candidates with backgrounds in restaurants, hotels, catering, banquets, guest services, or other hospitality environments are encouraged to apply. Training on our beverage program and venue service standards will be provided.

Event-Based Scheduling & Availability

This is a part-time, event-based position with shifts scheduled according to weddings, private events, and venue needs.

• Most shifts occur on Friday evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays, with occasional weekday and holiday events.
• Shift start times and durations vary based on event schedules, setup requirements, and closing responsibilities.
• Weekend availability, particularly Saturdays, is strongly preferred.
• Weekly hours may fluctuate based on seasonal wedding demand and booked events.
• This position does not guarantee a fixed number of hours each week.
• Team members are expected to communicate availability in advance and honor accepted shifts.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Hospitality

• Welcome guests with warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality.
• Create positive, engaging interactions while maintaining efficient beverage service.
• Anticipate guest needs and proactively assist whenever possible.
• Maintain a polished, approachable, and composed presence throughout events.
• Respond to guest concerns with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.

Beverage Service

• Prepare and serve beer, wine, cocktails, and nonalcoholic beverages according to established standards.
• Learn and execute venue-specific recipes, signature cocktails, and beverage presentations.
• Maintain beverage consistency, accuracy, and quality.
• Follow responsible alcohol service procedures, including age verification and intoxication awareness.
• Comply with applicable TABC regulations and venue alcohol service policies.

Event Operations & Teamwork

• Assist with bar setup, stocking, organization, breakdown, and cleaning.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional bar environment.
• Communicate effectively with fellow bartenders, event coordinators, and venue leadership.
• Support teammates proactively to ensure seamless event operations.
• Follow established service standards, operational procedures, and safety practices.
• Participate in pre-event meetings and team training.

Qualifications

Required

• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Dependability, punctuality, and a professional attitude.
• Willingness to learn bartending techniques, beverage recipes, and service procedures.
• Ability to work an event-based schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with bar setup and breakdown.
• Ability to meet Texas alcohol service age requirements.
• Current TABC certification or willingness to obtain certification before serving alcohol.

Preferred but Not Required

• Previous bartending, serving, banquet, catering, or hospitality experience.
• Familiarity with beer, wine, spirits, or classic cocktails.
• Experience working weddings, private events, or high-volume hospitality environments.
• Previous experience using POS systems.
