Bartender

The Holiday Inn Downtown Historic District Hotel is seeking a Part-Time Bartender to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have previous bartending experience, excellent customer service skills and the ability to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.

This position requires availability 2–3 days per week. Scheduling offers some flexibility; however, applicants must be available to work within the bar’s operating hours listed below.

Bar Operating Hours:

• Monday–Thursday: 3:00 PM–9:00 PM
• Friday–Saturday: 3:00 PM–12:00 AM

Previous bartending experience is required. Experience with the MICROS preferred.

Job Summary:

• Greet all guests promptly and provide friendly, professional, and attentive service.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages.
• Take guest food orders
• Verify guest ID and follow all laws and responsible beverage service guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of the bar menu, beverage offerings, specials, and pricing.
• Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, ice, and other bar supplies as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary bar area throughout the entire shift.
• Complete all opening, ongoing, and closing cleaning duties, ensuring the bar is clean and properly organized before, during, and after every shift.
• Clean and sanitize tables, bar tops, beverage stations, and other assigned guest areas.
• Remove trash, dispose of waste properly, and maintain cleanliness in accordance with hotel standards.
• Complete closing duties, including restocking supplies, cleaning equipment, securing products, and preparing the bar for the next operating day.
