Bartender

Bartender Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Provide friendly and professional service to bar guests.
• Verify customer IDs and follow applicable alcohol-service laws.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar.
• Monitor bar inventory and restock beverages and supplies.
• Process orders and payments accurately.
• Follow all sanitation and responsible alcohol-service procedures.
• Greet guests warmly, present menus, and explain menu items.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
• Communicate orders and special requests to the kitchen.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and ensure order accuracy.
• Check on guests during their meals and address requests or concerns.
• Clear and reset tables while maintaining a clean dining area.
• Assist with seating guests and managing tables when needed.
• Process bills and payments accurately.
• Refill water and other beverages and maintain dining-area supplies.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and restaurant service standards.
• Work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other team members.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending or food-serving experience preferred.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Friendly attitude, professional appearance, and attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team.
• Availability for evening and weekend shifts.
• Must meet applicable Indiana age and alcohol-server permit requirements for bartending duties.

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
