Position Overview:

At Hotel ZaZa, the Bartender plays a key role in delivering an elevated and engaging bar experience. This position is responsible for crafting high-quality beverages while providing attentive, personalized service that reflects our luxury boutique brand. As a brand ambassador, the Bartender creates a welcoming and dynamic atmosphere while managing guest interactions with professionalism and style.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Hotel ZaZa standards

• Provide knowledgeable and engaging service by guiding guests through the cocktail menu, wine list, and specials

• Maintain full awareness of bar guests’ needs, ensuring timely and attentive service

• Ensure accuracy in order taking, drink preparation, and a cash/transaction handling

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including glassware, tools, and workstations

• Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking and bar prep as needed

• Verify guest identification and ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with all regulations

• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow

• Execute opening and closing duties, including prep and breakdown of the bar area

• Uphold grooming, uniform and Hotel ZaZa service Standards, including all safety protocols

• 1+ year bartending in high‑volume, premium bar, restaurant, or resort environment preferred, strong cocktail knowledge and speed with accuracy.

• Valid TABC certification (or ability to obtain prior to start); Food Handler certification per local requirements.

• Proven guest‑first mindset with polished communication and a warm, engaging presence consistent with ZaZa’s luxury boutique brand.

• Ability stand, and move throughout the dining area for extended periods, occasionally lift or carry up to 25 pounds

• Reliable cash‑handling and POS skills; collaborative approach with barbacks, servers, and the culinary team to keep service running smoothly.
