Bartender (Experience Required)

El Don Cocina & Cantina, our modern Mexican restaurant and cantina, is seeking an experienced Bartender to join our team. We’re looking for hospitality-driven team members who can provide polished, attentive service in a fast-paced restaurant and nightlife environment.

Important:
This is not an entry-level position. Please apply only if you have at least 1–2 years of bartending experience and are comfortable working busy dinner, brunch, and special event shifts.

Duties:

• Provide friendly, attentive, and professional guest service.
• Maintain strong knowledge of our cocktail, tequila, and mezcal offerings.
• Make recommendations and confidently upsell cocktails and premium selections.
• Manage the bar efficiently during high-volume periods.
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked service areas.
• Work closely with hosts, bussers, kitchen staff, servers, and management to provide a smooth guest experience.
• Process guest checks and payments accurately.
• Follow all alcohol-service, health, safety, and sanitation standards.

Skills & Requirements:

• Minimum 1–2 years of bartending experience.
• Experience in a high-volume restaurant, upscale-casual, lounge, or nightlife environment is strongly preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Confident, outgoing personality with the ability to engage guests professionally.
• Strong menu knowledge and ability to make recommendations and upsell.
• Ability to multitask and remain composed during busy shifts.
• Knowledge of cocktails, tequila, mezcal, and Mexican cuisine is a plus.
• Must be dependable and available for evenings, weekends, brunches, and special events.
• Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.

Pay: $17.00 per hour
