Bartender (Lunatique)

Job Summary 

We are seeking a skilled, energetic, and customer-focused Bartender to join our team. The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, providing excellent guest service, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable about drink recipes, efficient in a fast-paced environment, and committed to delivering a great guest experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and standards.
• Take drink and food orders from guests and servers.
• Verify identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including equipment and glassware.
• Handle cash, credit card, and POS transactions accurately.
• Monitor guest behavior and follow responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• Restock bar inventory and supplies as needed.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and inventory counts.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
• Follow all alcohol service laws, food safety standards, and company policies.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending or customer service experience is preferred.
• Valid Texas Food Handler Certificate required (or ability to obtain prior to first shift, if applicable).
• TABC certification required or must be obtained before starting employment.
• Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixology, and bar equipment preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25–30 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
