Bartender, Part-Time

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Bartender to join our team at Tubmill Creek Provisions. This is a part-time role. Must have weekend availability. Experience working as a bartender is preferred, but we will train the right person.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
• Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or food pairings to enhance their experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Process cash transactions accurately using the Square point-of-sale register.
• Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and minimizing waste while maximizing profitability
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service during busy hours or special events like banquets or catering functions

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bartender is preferred, but we will train.
• Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, craft beer brewing processes, and beverage recipe development preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism under pressure
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking between serving drinks, handling cash, and maintaining cleanliness
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and food safety procedures
• Experience in food handling, catering events, banquet service, or retail beverage sales is a plus
• Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
