Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately, following established recipes and safety standards.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
• Manage cash handling and POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS, ensuring accurate transactions and receipts.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible alcohol service and prevent over-serving.
• Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages as needed to ensure smooth service flow.
• Follow all food handling procedures and uphold health regulations to guarantee a safe environment for both staff and guests.

Experience

• Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in bartending or serving roles.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a lively environment.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating tabs accurately.
• Experience with alcohol service regulations and responsible beverage service practices is a plus.
