Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, take food and beverage orders accurately, and serve with enthusiasm to ensure a positive dining experience
• Mix, garnish, and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options using established recipes or custom creations
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing orders, payments, and cash handling efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area while adhering to food safety standards and responsible alcohol service regulations
• Develop new beverage recipes and contribute ideas for seasonal menus or specials to enhance guest satisfaction
• Upsell menu items effectively by understanding guest preferences and promoting signature drinks or food pairings
• Handle cash transactions accurately, process credit card payments, and balance cash drawers at shift end
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours, including catering events or nightclub nights
• Stay informed about beverage trends such as mixology techniques, brewing processes, and wine knowledge to elevate guest experiences

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of POS systems.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and handle diverse situations professionally
• Demonstrated proficiency in beverage recipe development, mixology techniques, spirits knowledge, and wine expertise
• Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail
• Experience with food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately; experience with cash handling preferred
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed
