Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, following established recipes and presentation standards
• Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or menu items to enhance their experience
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently
• Manage cash transactions with precision, ensuring proper handling of payments and receipts
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
• Assist with food service duties when needed, including serving appetizers or small plates in a fine dining or nightclub setting
• Support bar management by monitoring inventory levels, restocking supplies, and tracking beverage usage

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, beverage recipe development, and cocktail crafting
• Strong understanding of wine varieties, spirits, brewing processes, and craft beer trends
• Proven experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Ability to multitask effectively in high-energy environments like nightclubs or banquet settings
• Sound time management skills to handle busy shifts smoothly while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate billing
