Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality in every pour
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing cash and card transactions efficiently
• Provide attentive and friendly service to guests, offering menu recommendations and answering questions about drinks and food options
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Develop new beverage recipes and enhance existing ones to keep the menu fresh and exciting
• Manage bar inventory, restocking supplies as needed, and tracking consumption for ordering purposes
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours and special events like banquets or catering functions

Skills

• Extensive experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
• Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, spirits, and craft beer options
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment with fine dining or hospitality industry experience
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently without sacrificing quality
• Familiarity with food safety protocols, proper food handling, and beverage presentation standards
• Ability to work effectively within a team while maintaining professionalism during high-pressure situations
• Basic math skills for cash transactions, retail math for inventory management, and accurate bill splitting
