Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages including cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits with precision and flair.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and making personalized recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Process cash transactions accurately while managing tabs and handling cash or card payments efficiently.
• Assist in beverage recipe development and suggest new drink ideas to enhance the menu offerings.
• Support bar management with inventory checks, stock replenishment, and maintaining compliance with alcohol service regulations.

Skills

• Extensive experience with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS.
• Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, and spirits.
• Proven ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts in fast-paced environments such as fine dining restaurants or nightclubs.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor that fosters guest loyalty.
• Experience in food handling, beverage preparation, and food safety protocols.
• Ability to multitask efficiently while processing cash transactions and serving multiple tables or bar patrons.
• Familiarity with beverage recipe development and crafting innovative drinks to delight guests.
• Previous experience in hospitality industry settings such as restaurants, bars, banquet halls or catering environments is highly valued.
