Duties

• Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
• Take and process food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and making personalized recommendations.
• Manage cash transactions efficiently, including processing payments and giving accurate change while adhering to cash handling procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and sanitation regulations.
• Assist in food service duties when needed, including serving meals at tables or during banquets and catering events.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy hours and support bar management in inventory control and beverage recipe development.

Skills

• Proven experience in bartending or serving within the hospitality industry; fine dining experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order entry and transaction processing.
• Expertise in mixology techniques, cocktail creation, wine knowledge, spirits experience, and beverage recipe development.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally.
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing retail math for inventory purposes.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and restaurant or banquet experience is highly desirable.

Pay: $11.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
