Bartender- Server

Job Overview

As a Bartender-Server, you’ll create a welcoming dining experience by combining attentive table service with confident, responsible bartending. You’ll take orders, prepare and serve beverages, process payments, and keep your work area clean and ready for guests. Your impact: Thoughtful service and accurate orders help guests enjoy their meals and beverages with ease. Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, explain menu and beverage options, take orders, and deliver food and drinks promptly.
• Prepare cocktails and other beverages using mixology skills, beverage recipes, and knowledge of wine, spirits, craft beer, and brewing.
• Use POS (point-of-sale) systems to enter orders, coordinate service, process cash transactions, and complete cashiering duties.
• Maintain clean bar and dining areas; follow food safety and food-handling practices.
• Support bar operations, manage time across competing service needs, and contribute to sales through informed recommendations.

Requirements

• Customer service, serving, bartending, and food service experience; restaurant, hospitality, or food industry experience is valuable.
• Basic math skills for order accuracy, retail math, cash handling, and payment processing.
• Knowledge of POS systems; Aloha POS or Micros POS experience is a plus.
• Fine dining, nightclub, banquet, or catering experience is helpful, as are cocktail experience, beverage recipe development, bar management, and spirits or wine knowledge.
• Food safety and food-handling knowledge; experience in hospitality, brewing, or related settings is an advantage.

Pay: $10.00 per hour
