Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage reservations, and seat guests efficiently as a Host.
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including craft cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, utilizing your mixology expertise.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery.
• Provide attentive table service by recommending menu items, answering questions about food safety and ingredients, and accommodating special requests.
• Process cash transactions accurately while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, dining space, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy hours and support bar management initiatives.

Skills

• Extensive experience with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking.
• Strong knowledge of beverage recipes, cocktail mixing techniques, wine varieties, craft beer styles, and spirits.
• Proven ability to manage time effectively in fast-paced environments while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Experience in fine dining settings or upscale hospitality environments is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills combined with a friendly demeanor to create welcoming guest interactions.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, retail math for sales upselling, and food industry standards for food handling and safety.
• Familiarity with food service procedures such as banquet or catering experience is a plus.
