Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a passion for the industry and providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for engaging with guests, and ensuring a memorable experience in our lakefront dining setting,

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization including proper food handling and safety practices.
• Engage with customers to provide excellent service, recommend drinks, and create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Operate Toast POS systems
• Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during banquets and catering events.
• Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to food safety standards.
• Stay informed about new products, trends in the beverage industry, and menu changes.

Skills

• Proficient in using Toast POS systems for efficient order management.
• Strong time management skills to handle high-volume service periods effectively.
• Excellent sales abilities with a focus on upselling beverages and menu items.
• Previous fine dining or nightclub experience preferred, showcasing familiarity with upscale service standards.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Experience in the food industry, including bartending, serving, or catering roles.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to engage positively with guests.
