Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders by preparing garnishes, stocking supplies, and maintaining cleanliness behind the bar.
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Serve beverages responsibly while adhering to all food safety and alcohol service regulations.
• Support with beverage recipe development and craft beer or wine offerings to enhance menu diversity.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with health standards and food handling procedures.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to promote sales and ensure excellent customer service.
• Help manage bar inventory, restocking supplies efficiently during shifts to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bartending, mixology, or food service within fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings.
• Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, craft beers, and beverage recipes; experience in beverage development is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling skills are essential.
• Excellent time management skills to juggle multiple tasks during busy shifts.
• Ability to serve responsibly and adhere to all food safety and alcohol regulations.
• Previous hospitality industry experience including restaurant or catering work preferred.
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations related to sales and inventory.
