Job Overview

Duties

• Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, following established recipes and presentation standards
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience and promote beverage sales
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems (Chowbus) , handling cash and credit card payments efficiently
• Develop new beverage recipes and suggest pairings to increase sales opportunities while staying within brand guidelines
• Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, placing orders for supplies, and minimizing waste
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service during busy periods and special events such as banquets or catering functions
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption to promote safety

Experience

• Proven experience working as a bartender or beverage server in a fast-paced hospitality environment, preferably with fine dining or upscale venues
• Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, craft beer styles, and beverage recipe development
• Familiarity with POS systems(Chowbus) for processing transactions accurately
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Experience serving in banquet settings or catering environments is a plus
• Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, retail math for inventory management, and food safety knowledge for proper handling of beverages and garnishes
