Our front desk team also runs our evening bar, Bar on the Hill — so this job is equal parts bartender and front desk associate.

Here's exactly what we're looking for: bartending experience. That's the skill we want you to walk in with.

Front desk experience? We don't require it at all. Hotel systems, check-ins, reservations — we can teach all of that, easily, and we will. What we can't teach in a week is how to run a bar well.

What you'll do

• Bartend at Bar on the Hill during evening bar hours (open 6 PM – 10 PM, closed Sundays) — pour, serve, and take care of bar guests
• Serve the bar's evening food menu — take food orders, run plates, and take care of guests who come in to eat, not just drink. We're growing our evening food service, and you'll be part of making it work
• Work the front desk: greet guests, check them in and out, and handle reservations in our hotel system (full training provided)
• Answer guest questions, solve problems on the spot, and be the friendly face of the hotel
• Help with small maintenance tasks — plunging a toilet, resetting a TV, and reporting bigger issues to maintenance
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance so rooms are ready when guests arrive
• Keep the bar and front desk areas clean, organized, and welcoming

What you bring

• Real bartending experience — this is the requirement that matters
• Must be 21 or older (you'll be mixing and serving alcohol)
• Friendly, professional, and dependable — your team counts on you to show up
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable with computers and learning new systems (we'll teach you ours)
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• No hotel or front desk experience needed — seriously. We'll teach the desk.
