Job Opportunity: Bartender / Bar Supervisor at The Walton

Position: Bartender / Bar Supervisor

Location: The Walton, Midtown Atlanta

Pay: $10-$15 per hour for bartenders and $15-$18 per hour for Bar Supervisor, plus tips

Experience: Bartending experience required. Leadership experience for the Bar Supervisor role.

Are you a bartender who loves the craft and loves the guest even more? The Walton is a brand new café, bar and event space coming to Midtown Atlanta, and we are looking for bartenders and a Bar Supervisor to help us open the doors!

Our bar program was built for guests who know what they like, with a thoughtful wine list, a deep spirits selection and a cocktail menu we can’t wait for you to taste. If you want to be part of something new from the very beginning, we want to meet you.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience: Prior bartending experience, with craft cocktail or high-volume bars a plus. Bar Supervisor candidates should have lead bartender or supervisor experience.

• Skills: Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer and spirits, and the confidence to guide a guest to their next favorite drink.

• Personality: Warm and outgoing, a natural host who makes every guest feel like a regular.

• Responsibility: Able to stay organized and keep a positive attitude when the bar gets busy.

• Certification: TIPS and ServSafe Food Handler, or able to earn them within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve guests at the bar with genuine, attentive hospitality.

• Prepare cocktails, wine and beer to our recipes and presentation standards.

• Guide guests through our menu and make thoughtful recommendations.

• Serve alcohol responsibly and check identification.

• Operate the POS accurately for orders and payments.

• Keep the bar clean, stocked and organized throughout the shift.

• Support private events and receptions as they are booked.

• Bar Supervisor: lead the bar team during service, help with inventory and ordering, and train new teammates.
