Bartender/Manager

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality in every pour
• Manage daily bar operations, including overseeing staff, inventory control, and cash handling procedures using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
• Develop and refine beverage recipes to keep our menu fresh and exciting while aligning with customer preferences and current trends
• Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders accurately, and addressing any concerns promptly
• Maintain food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and ensuring cleanliness in all bar areas
• Lead the bar team by training new staff on bartending techniques, POS systems, and hospitality best practices
• Monitor sales performance, implement upselling strategies, and contribute to achieving revenue goals in a vibrant nightlife or fine dining environment

Requirements

• Proven experience in bartending with strong cocktail mixing skills and extensive knowledge of spirits, wine, and craft beers
• Previous management or supervisory experience in a bar or restaurant setting is highly preferred
• Proficiency with POS systems.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clientele in high-energy environments like nightclubs or banquet settings
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently during busy hours
• Knowledge of beverage recipe development and mixology techniques to create innovative drinks that delight guests
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and food handling procedures within the hospitality industry
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business schedule
