Bartender/Mixologist

Job Summary

We are looking for a Bartender / Mixologist to join our team and provide friendly, professional service to our guests. The role involves preparing and serving a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, maintaining the bar area and ensuring guests receive a good standard of service.

Good customer service, attention to detail and the ability to work well as part of a team are important to the role.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to a consistent standard.
• Provide friendly and professional service to guests.
• Maintain a clean, organised and well-stocked bar area.
• Keep glassware, equipment and bar supplies clean and ready for use.
• Process payments accurately using the POS system and manage customer tabs.
• Follow responsible alcohol service practices and relevant legal requirements.
• Monitor stock levels and restock drinks and supplies as needed.
• Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth service.
• Assist with developing or updating the drinks menu where required.
• Maintain good hygiene and follow food safety procedures.

Experience

• Previous experience in hospitality, bartending or a similar customer service role is preferred.
• Good knowledge of basic bartending techniques and common cocktails.
• Understanding of responsible alcohol service and food safety practices.
• Good time management and the ability to manage multiple orders during busy periods.
• Ability to remain calm and professional when working under pressure.
• Basic numeracy skills for handling payments and accurately measuring ingredients.
• Good communication skills and a friendly approach to working with guests and colleagues.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, professional and confident working in a busy bar environment. A willingness to learn and work as part of a team is just as important as previous experience.

Pay: £11.00-£13.25 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 45.0 per week
