Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a diverse selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and promote sales through personalized recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and beverage stations, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; handle cash handling with precision.
• Develop new beverage recipes and contribute to menu updates by applying knowledge of mixology, spirits, wine, and beverage trends.
• Manage bar inventory efficiently by monitoring stock levels, placing orders when necessary, and minimizing waste.
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service during busy hours or special events like banquets or catering functions.

Skills

• Proven cocktail crafting skills with strong knowledge of spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, and beverage recipe development.
• Exceptional customer service abilities with a friendly demeanor that fosters guest loyalty
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling, retail math applications, and inventory management.
