Job Summary

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Bartender to prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of beverage preparation, drink presentation, bar operations, and inventory management, with the ability to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming bar environment.

Job Description

• Prepare and serve cocktails, mocktails, wines, spirits, beers, soft drinks, and other beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Welcome customers, take beverage orders, and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
• Ensure drinks are prepared accurately, consistently, and presented professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar counter, equipment, glassware, and storage areas.
• Monitor bar inventory, check stock levels, and report shortages to the supervisor.
• Ensure beverages and ingredients are properly stored and handled.
• Process customer orders and payments accurately using the POS system or other approved payment methods.
• Monitor beverage consumption and minimize waste, spills, and stock losses.
• Verify customers' ages where required and comply with applicable alcohol service regulations.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve service issues professionally.
• Maintain knowledge of the bar menu, beverage ingredients, prices, and promotions.
• Prepare garnishes, syrups, mixers, and other ingredients needed for beverage service.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Coordinate with waiters, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Assist with bar setup, closing procedures, stocktaking, and sales reporting.
• Maintain a friendly and professional attitude while working efficiently during busy periods.

Pay: ₦70,000.00 per month
