Bartenders - El Nido

The Bartender prepares and serves drinks to specification and delivers a confident, personable bar experience. The role combines technical drink-making with guest interaction, speed, accuracy and bar upkeep.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and serve all drinks to the specified build, glassware, ice, garnish and presentation.
• Maintain full knowledge of the cocktail, wine, spirits, beer and non-alcoholic menus.
• Serve guests at the bar warmly and make confident recommendations.
• Enter all orders accurately into the POS and handle cash and card payments correctly.
• Complete bar prep including juices, syrups, batches, garnishes and ice before service.
• Set up, stock and close down the bar to the required standard.
• Maintain par levels on the bar and request restocking as needed.
• Keep the bar, back bar, fridges and service areas clean and organised throughout service.
• Control pouring accuracy, spillage, breakage and waste.
• Enforce responsible service of alcohol and verify age where required.
• Report stock shortages, equipment faults and guest feedback to the supervisor.
• Follow all hygiene, glass-handling and ice-handling standards.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 1-2 years of bartending experience in a restaurant, bar, hotel or resort.
• Solid cocktail technique and working knowledge of spirits, beer and wine.
• Competent with POS systems and cash handling.
• Good English communication skills and a confident, personable manner.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately during high-volume service.
• Understanding of responsible service of alcohol and bar hygiene.
• Well-presented, punctual and reliable.

WORK LOCATION AND CONDITIONS

El Nido, Palawan, Philippines. The role requires flexibility to work in line with restaurant operations, including mornings, evenings, weekends, public holidays, peak tourism periods and special events.

Pay: Php12,400.74 - Php25,700.91 per month
