Bartender/Server

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server/Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, engaging with customers, and ensuring a positive experience in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in food and beverage service is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems and food safety standards. The position will play a key role in maintaining the bar's efficiency and ambiance, contributing to the overall success of our establishment.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner to enhance their experience
• Operate POS systems such as Square POS for order processing and cash handling
• Manage cash transactions, including cashiering duties and ensuring proper cash handling procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
• Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations during shifts
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and adherence to safety policies
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high-quality customer interactions
• Follow all food handling, safety, and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff

Skills

• Proven experience in restaurant or food service environments, especially in bartending roles
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS and cashiering procedures
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
• Effective time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy periods
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, change calculation, and order totals
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
• Familiarity with the food industry trends, hospitality practices, and serving etiquette
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
