Bartender/Server

Responsibilities

• Take orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of customer service
• Prepare and pour alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks following standard recipes and safety guidelines
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
• Assist with food handling, serving, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit
• Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously, demonstrating excellent time management skills
• Uphold food safety regulations and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed
• Engage with guests professionally, providing friendly service that promotes a positive hospitality experience

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs effectively
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and making change accurately
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks during busy periods
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Hospitality experience is highly valued; personable demeanor is essential for guest engagement
• Must be at least 18 years old or older, depending on local regulations
• Smart Serve license required
