Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately, ensuring a smooth and friendly service experience
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, following established recipes and presentation standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, tools, and supplies
• Process cash transactions efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, handling cash and credit payments securely
• Assist with food service duties when needed, including serving meals and ensuring timely delivery to guests
• Develop beverage recipes and contribute to menu updates that reflect current trends in mixology and craft brewing
• Uphold food safety standards and proper food handling procedures in accordance with health regulations
• Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously through effective time management skills while maintaining high-quality service
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy periods or special events like banquets or catering functions

Skills

• Proven experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions accurately
• Strong knowledge of beverage preparation including cocktails, spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, and beverage recipe development
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse needs gracefully
• Demonstrated ability in food industry roles with fine dining experience preferred; familiarity with food safety standards essential
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods
• Knowledge of mixology techniques and beverage presentation standards to enhance guest satisfaction
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately; retail math experience beneficial for inventory management
