Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, following established recipes and presentation standards.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high service standards.
• Engage with guests to recommend drinks, menu items, and specials to enhance their dining experience.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash and card transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Manage bar inventory, restocking supplies as needed, and assisting with beverage recipe development to keep offerings fresh and innovative.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy nights or events like banquets or nightclub evenings.
• Handle cash transactions responsibly while processing payments accurately using POS systems.
• Uphold hospitality industry standards by providing exceptional customer service in both casual dining and fine dining settings.

Experience

• Proven experience in bartending or serving within a restaurant or hospitality environment; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly valued.
• Strong knowledge of beverage recipes, mixology techniques, wine varieties, spirits, and craft beer brewing processes.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently.
• Demonstrated ability in food handling, food safety practices, and basic math for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during high-volume periods.
• Prior experience in food service roles including catering or banquet settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of beverage recipe development and customer service excellence to create memorable guest experiences.

Pay: $4.00 - $6.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
