Bartender/Server

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, ensuring that every guest enjoys a memorable experience. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting delicious beverages, providing exceptional service, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and efficiently while providing recommendations based on their tastes.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
• Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies; assist in ordering as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
• Handle cash transactions using POS systems; accurately process payments and manage tabs.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
• Uphold high standards of customer service in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in bartending or food service is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in using POS systems; familiarity with Toast POS is advantageous.
• Strong basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively.
• Knowledge of retail math principles to assist in inventory management.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Understanding of food handling practices to ensure customer safety and satisfaction.
• A passion for the food industry and commitment to providing outstanding service.
